Medley in Ceramics

The creative process for a recent project started during a very tumultuous time in my life. As an artist I decided to channel my energy and emotions into my artwork. I chose the strong shape of a circle to seek familiarity with the new emotions I was experiencing and also to search for new dimensions in the familiar. The project tries to string together different emotions as one tries to comprehend life where the possibilities are as infinite as the Galaxy but making sense of it requires us to peel off layers from our own perceptions. It is confusing , where one seems to go around in circles , being hit by wave after wave of realization....until one finally achieves a sense of peace which is as comforting as an oasis in the desert.
